Project brief: Determine brand personality and aspirations and develop branding that reflects these.
Challenge:  Develop visual brand that expresses Equilibrium Fitness’ personality: strong, but welcoming and buoyant, un-stressful; and its visual aspirations: clean and simple. Equilbrium Fitness desired to be welcoming to everybody but knew its key demographics were women 25 to 45 as well as older adults from 50 to 80 desiring private training classes.
Team: Worked directly with owner of Equilibrium Fitness
Role: Strategic Designer
Solution: The client was very interested in the DaVinci’s Vitruvian Manand loved the simple accessibility of the Apple logo. From these starting points, I began researching and drawing possibilities. I created a strong and simple logo based on the letterforms of E and Q, and used a bright clear palette to express the lightness of the brand.
Effect: My branding created a clear, strong presence for Equilibrium Fitness.
